{"id":4148,"date":"2024-08-05T19:27:11","date_gmt":"2024-08-05T23:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/campus.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\/catalog\/?page_id=4148"},"modified":"2024-08-09T20:42:34","modified_gmt":"2024-08-10T00:42:34","slug":"student-accounts","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/campus.collegeforcreativestudies.edu\/catalog\/student-accounts\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Accounts"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Accepted and enrolled students registered for credit courses at CCS are assigned a CCS student username and password from Information Technology Services to use the primary CCS platforms:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access Manager:&nbsp;<\/strong>to view CCS campus apps and services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Self-Service:&nbsp;<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>access student records (student profile information, grades, enrollment verifications, etc)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>view student notifications and\/or restrictions (holds) that need action<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>make tuition payments and access financial aid resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>utilize &#8220;student planning&#8221; in self-service to review academic program information, register classes and accept agreements <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>coordinate degree\/course planning with CCS Academic Advisors; view assigned academic advisor and department mentor(s)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Canvas: \u00a0<\/strong>to access registered course syllabi, assignment content, submit assignments and view course instruction\/details<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CCS Email<\/strong>: all campus communication, student records and tuition notifications are sent to students using their assigned CCS email, as the official form of communication.*<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>*Registered students are responsible for checking CCS email periodically for campus updates and student account notifications.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Various access timelines exists and may depend on student status.
