AEXP-101 AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN

This course is an introduction to the art of auto,design. Through a series of in-class,assignments,students will learn professional,techniques for depicting the complex forms of,automobiles in two dimensions. Sketching,,rendering and perspective drawing techniques are,included.

AGRC-146 DRAWN TO DETROIT: URBAN DRAWING

This course is for students with basic to,advanced drawing skills and an interest in,Detroit and working in plein-air. Students will,learn the tricks of working outside in various,conditions and how to pack materials, as well as,the basics of gesture, sight measuring an,perspective in various locations around Detroit. ,The class will cover a variety of dry and wet,black and white drawing materials. Students will,meet at CCS Ford Campus for the first class and,then at different urban locations each week,,including Belle Isle, downtown and beyond. A,list of supplies will be handed out on the first,day of class.

ADRW-080 BASIC DRAWING

Learn the essential techniques needed to draw,images more realistically. This class will focus,on drawing fundamentals: shape, line, shading and,proportion. After this short course, students,should be able to translate the three dimensional,world around them on flat paper.

AGRC-226 INTRO TO MAYA: GAME DESIGN

Learn the basics of the software used by, professional game designers. Students will learn, basic Maya skills needed to turn digital drawings, into living motion in a 3D format. Starting from, scratch or picking up from an existing level,, students will learn how to create and manipulate, objects, design scenery, import and export, assets, and script a video game story line.
