What if I am an Authorized Signer?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are an Authorized Signer receiving a form for approval, you will receive an email notification when a package (form) is ready for your review and signature. <\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you have logged in, you will see all of your submitted packages. Click on the package you would like to review to view any uploaded attachments or supporting documents. You can filter and sort your packages by package name, date, last activity, or submission date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From this screen, you can download attachments or upload additional supporting documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When you are ready to take action, the Approve<\/strong>, Decline<\/strong>, Return<\/strong>, and Refer<\/strong> options are located at the bottom of the form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selecting Approve<\/strong> will move the request to the next step in the workflow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selecting Decline<\/strong> will reject the request and end the approval process. The originator will receive an email notification informing them that the request has been declined. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If additional information or revisions are needed before a decision can be made, you may select Return<\/strong> to send the form back to the originator for updates. Once the requested changes have been made, the originator can resubmit the form for approval. The Refer<\/strong> option allows you to route the form to another individual for review, input, or action before the approval process continues.<\/p>\n\n\n

If You’re Both the Submitter and an Authorized Signer<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you are both the submitter of the form and the Authorized Signer 1 for your department, you will need to log back into Softdocs and approve the form before it can move to the next step in the workflow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After submitting your form, visit the Submissions tab to view the status of your requests, see what is awaiting review, and track forms that are in progress. You can also access completed packages from this tab.<\/p>\n\n\n

Technical Issues:<\/strong> Please direct all technical questions to ITS by submitting a helpdesk ticket<\/a>. For example, submit a ticket if you are unable to attach a supporting document. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drop-in Zoom Sessions<\/strong><\/a>:<\/strong> We will host weekly, informal Q&A sessions on Mondays from 11:30 AM \u2013 1:00 PM<\/strong>. Feel free to pop in at any time. These sessions are for Business Services related questions only. For example, use this option if you are not seeing the correct GL number or if the list of authorized signers needs to be updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
